I am looking for some good resources to help me setting up an FTP/WEB server. I have found lots of information on how to start Internet Information Services (IIS), but I can't seem to actually access my computer, nor do I completly understand how.

Does anyone know of any good online resources to set this up?

Thanks.

I did do some google searching, but I didn't find that specific article. Most just dealt with installing and setting up IIS.

Dude, Google bullet proof ftp server and buy it. it's so worth it. If an idiot like me can figure it out then you should do fine. Just make sure you read the instructions (easy read). You can set up a folder with the files you want to serve and password protect them. The program tells you what path the users should follow. All your users need is an FTP client and a password you have issued them. Check it out, it'll be worth your time.

I have got my WEB/FTP server set up and running, using Apache for WEB and Serv-U for FTP. Everything seems to work great, no problems yet, its secure and was easy to set up

Now...all I need is to register a domain name and start having people drop by my "gentlemans" web site with their credit card, if you know what I mean
