DVD-Rom no longer reading DVDs

Solution

if the mb bios see the drive but not windows then it a registry error. google microsoft hi low regitry error for cd-rom/dvd drives.
if the drive not shown in the bios but the try opens..the drive controller may have gone bad..or the cable or the port the drive connected too.
