Is this 500w power supply good enough?
The specs of the computer are : i5 750, radeon 5850, 1 harddrive 320 gb, 4gb ddr3 ram and one dvd rw drive. 23 inch monitor as well.

The case i have has the power supply at the bottom is this ok to be placed on the bottom as well?

I wasnt trying to spend too much and this brand i heard was very good.

If you have any other suggestion at around $80 or below just give me a link please. Id like to have a well known brand as well.

I would not suggest either of those units.

My Recommendation
CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V $89.99 $69.99 after rebate
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W ATX12V $79.99 69.99 after rebate
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V $79.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I would get the 650 watt unit to leave some headroom also will allow your system to run cooler when you are not maxing out your PSU.

since its going to be mounted on the bottom does it matter if the psu is mounted upside down??

650 watts will be more than required (although extra power never hurts).. The Corsair VX 550 fits the bill perfectly.. And it does not matter which way the PSU is mounted till all the connections are made perfectly..

If you like Antec and you are thinking about NOT doing CF, I recommend you these ones:

ANTEC TruePower New 550W (by Seasonic) (modular)...90$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ANTEC EarthWatts 650W (by Delta Electronics)...80$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ANTEC Neo Eco 520W (by Seasonic)...65$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Anyway, considering the price, these ones are better options:

CORSAIR TX650 650W (by Seasonic)...70$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M 600W (by Enhance Electronics) (modular)...70$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

OCZ FATAL1TY 550W (by Sirtec) (modular)...50$ (after $20.00 Mail-In Rebate card)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I recommend you to go for the OCZ FATAL1TY 550W.

Not sure if there is any problems with this one. please let me know thanks!

There is no problem at all with that PSU. It's a good modular unit which has been made by Delta Electronics. It can handle your system easily. If you can get it for free, don't look for anything else.
