1000w Power Supply

I'd personally go with the Corsair HX1000W, but you could try the Cooler Master Silent Pro M1000.

Do you actually need that big a PSU?
What are you going to power with it?

That Antec is superior, read some reviews.

I'd check you need that much power first - unless you're running multiple GTX480s in SLI you don't need that much juice.

Read the reviews below. I can't find the Quatro 1000W but there is a review for the Quatro 1200W and Quatro 850W.

I have 3 Antec Quatro 850W ~> 2 years old. I have 2 HX1000W( 4 months). My personal preference is Corsair. All my new builts are to use Corsair PSU.

Ok I ordered the Corsair because newegg was having a sale and I liked the reviews the most. I want a 1000w because I have a 480gtx and will probably sli when the prices come down a tad. I also like just having a lot of overhead in power supplies because Ive had that be a bottleneck before.

I had an X3 Ultra 1000w but Im pretty sure I fried it which is why I needed to order a new one (Computer randomly shut down and after I installed the 480gtx wouldnt even display windows (although I could hear it start in the background).
