Router has worked ok for 6 months. Suddenly, the wireless connection began dropping and the wireless speed is horrible. firmware upgrade fixed the wireless dropping, but wireless speed is still terrible. shut off every wireless device in the house to see if something was interfering... no joy.

Scan for neighbouring wifi networks and choose a frequency 5 stops from the strongest.

Filhart is right ,i had this same router,and when i was on the same channel as 3 of my neighbors,i had issues also!
