Ipod Touch causes PC to Crash

Lately when I connect my iTouch to my PC, I get the BSOD, three finger reboot ignored, I have to HARD reboot.

ASUS_P4S533_MB 2.53GHz_P4_533MHz_FSB 2GB_PC2700_2.5CL 200GB+100GB_HD PC,
iTunes 11.0.1.12
WinXP home SP3

When connecting my OLD Ipod Touch 4G (12/22-23/12)
BSOD: Stop @ 0x00000050

When connecting my NEW Ipod Touch 5G (1/5/13)
BSOD: Stop @ 0x000000&E

P.S. I have the minidumps

Other than that the PC is running fine

Any suggestions would be appreciated,
