I've got a headscratcher here.
I've got a Logitech Mx518 mouse, which has been my favourite mouse for games for nearly 6 years.
The problem goes like this:
On Windows Xp 32bit, i could run this mouse on Logitech SetPoint 2.3 drivers.
On Windows 7 64bit i cannot do that, due to 2.3 drivers being 32 bit only.
Whilst it may seem no-problem for some people, for me this is crucial. Setpoint 2.3 drivers give that extra crisp to the mouse, it feels more sharp and somehow the movement is different from any other drivers. I've grown so used to it, its irreplaceable.
So my question is - how do I do this ? I really dont want to go back to Xp.
Yet - is there some sort of way to make SetPoint 2.3 work on Win7 64 bit ?
Or perhaps there are some numbers/registry things to extract from those drivers, and manually place on Win7 ?
If there is anyone out there smart enough, please help. I will do my best to keep up !
