PC switches on and off after a few seconds

Howzit guys.

Everytime i switch the pc on, all fans goes on, (no BIOS beep) and switches off after 5 or so seconds.

I stripped all the components, leaving only the motherboard, cpu and PSU intact still does the same. I tried a different powersupply but to no success it switches on and switches off 5 seconds later.

I think it might be the motherboard that faulty

Any thoughts?

Try reseating the CPU and applying new thermal paste.
