Linux triple-head ati-5770

I'm running ubuntu 9.10 32-bit, and am looking at purchasing an ati-5770 for triple head support. ( I only have 1 PCIe x16 port )
Will it work??? ( I have a display port monitor and 2 dvi monitors )
I've searched everywhere, can't get any clear answers...

I don't understand, what potential issues would keep the 5770 working on your computer? driver issues?
