More about pcie cables
  1. check to see if the 5770 come with a molex to 6pin adapter, most do
  2. the storm has 2 x6 pin dedicated connectors for the pcie cards.Do i not need to have 6 pin to 6 pin?

ok, you stated you do not have your 6 pin cables for your modular PSU

ill use this MSI 5770 as an example

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ImageGallery.aspx?CurImage=14-127-476-Z06&SpinSet=14-127-476-RS&ISList=14-127-476-Z01%2c14-127-476-Z02%2c14-127-476-Z03%2c14-127-476-Z04%2c14-127-476-Z05%2c14-127-476-Z06&S7ImageFlag=1&Item=N82E16814127476&Depa=0&WaterMark=1&Description=MSI%20R5770-PMD1G%20Radeon%20HD%205770%201GB%20128-bit%20GDDR5%20PCI%20Express%202.0%20x16%20HDCP%20Ready%20CrossFireX%20Support%20Video%20Card

if you look at the package image you will see an adapter in the bottom left corner, you would connect two free molex 4 pins to it and then plug the 6pin end into the card
  4. not doubting your skill here. but running 2 5770s will be ok not using (i guess the 12v rails) but via molex from around the board?. (i am noob city lol)
