Which RAM for this mobo

Hi,

I am close to choosing this AMD motherboard from Newegg:

Biostar TA790GXB3]

As this is my first build and for gaming, which RAM must I use? I see it must be 1333 max (correct?), but not sure about 10600 vs 10666.

For example, would both this 1333/10666 G.skill 10666 and this 1333/10600 G.skill 10600 work fine in the Biostar board?

I do not plan to overclock. I do know lower latency is faster but am more concerned which ram fits at this point.

The max speed is 1600 mhz. The defaults are just 800, 1066 or 1333.

I wouldn't get that board. Here's a better one for the same price (after rebate): Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3. This board isn't only higher quality, it's also just plain better. It allows faster RAM, has USB 3/SATA III support, has more expansion slots and more ports available.

Couple it with this RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7.

True about the mobo, but I need to consider cost, and that cheaper board is part of a combo deal for $142 including X3 440: Newegg combo. Given that, I need to stick w/the cheaper but appreciate the suggestion.

I thought you could only use 1600 speed ram in that board (the cheaper one) if you overclocked. Is that incorrect?

You don't have to overclock to run your RAM at 1600MHz. You just have to manually set the RAM speed, timings, and voltage to their rated specs in the BIOS.
