  1. change case. get a haff 922
  2. ^+1.

Anyways, Pretty standard build. Looks fine to me.

For a gaming build that CPU is probably a bit over kill. You'll be fine with an Athlon X3 for quite a bit less: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103725

HOWEVER, if you plan to do vid editing, etc and play GTAIV, FSX,etc, then get the Phenom II.
  3. ^+1 shadow is right. also you can save money. and invest that money for the comign hexacore
  4. If you dont want an optical drive, how are you gonna install your OS?
  5. oh snap, good point il buy a $20 one. thx man

That was the theory I went with as well. I very seldom use cd's or dvd's, but its nice to have some cheapass optical drive just in case (And for installing OS's).

lol. I thought OP was using a USB DVD RW (like me). I no longer put DVD RW on a system unless it'd doing vid editing, etc. I have 2x DVD burners (Got a cheap SATA>USB converter off ebay for them). Last time I needed to use a DVD on my every day working PC (E2180 @3.2) was.... about 9 months ago.
