I've been monitoring my CPU with Real Temp. Core One is consistently hotter then the other cores by a range between 3 and 7/8 degrees. Is this normal?

Also, the mother board is P6X58D-E. When I run the ASUS AI Suite the CPU Temp indicator is lower by almost 5 degrees. It is not an average of Real Temps 4 cores. Since this is my first build and first experience with quads I'm being cautious about what's going on.

I ran the sensor test of Real Temp and got the same consistent core one hotter results. Overall, the results looked like they were normal, or at least did not throw errors or flags.

It's normal that core 0 and sometimes 1 as well run hotter. First of all because the first core is pretty much under a constant (light) load from the OS, office, web browser and what not, while the other cores only kick in when using a threaded application.
