Processors in parallel

Hello,

I was just wondering if it would be possible to connect two intel i7 extremem processors in parallel for extreme performance?

  1. No. You can only do this with server class processors on a server motherboard. The latest intel Xeon processors are the same as the core i7 but have something additional that allows for them to be connected to work together. Because of this addition, intel charges a much higher price for them:

    Of course you will also need a motherboard with two 1366 sockets.
