I have just assembled a i5-750 with a Intel DH55TC in a Gigabyte case GZ-X2 with a 400W PSU. There is a Radeon HD 5670 graphics card in the PCI expresss 2 X 16 connector. Operating with Win 7. Monitor goes blank and system hangs while playing standard windows games after about 3 minutes. I have done a memory check using a bootable CD, no errors reported. installed the Win 7 drivers. Tried the latest version from internet. Where could I have gone wrong?

The PSU came with the Gigabyte case, The PSU (W/noise killer) Model GE-C420A-C2; and it says on the label -max power for the 12V outputs will be 336 W

i'm not sure about the quality of your PSU but your PC should be able to run properly with it. does this problem always occur? check your CPU and GPU temperature. overheat always lead to system crash. if the temperature is fine then you can try your card on another PC and see what happen
