Hi.

I'm looking to upgrade my memory for my system and was looking for some advice on the best memory for my budget of around £100. Looking to add 8gb, some minimal O'C using the Turbo Key from the mainboard.

So far I've clocked Kingston HyperX 8gb 1600Mhz (4x2) for £99.50 and Corsair XMS3 8gb 1600Mhz (4x2) for £95, are these a pretty good deal or are there other manufacturers worth considering ? I don't mind paying a little extra if I'll get the benefit out of it. Haven't had any problems with my Kingston RAM and it seems to run pretty smoothly at the moment which has me favouring that manufacturer at the moment.

My heaviest demands is for recording music with programmes such as Sonar, Cubase etc. using virtual amplifiers for guitar work. Efficient multi-tasking
is a priority as well.

Hope you can help.

Current System as follows:

Windows 7 64 Professional
Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB 3 (using onboard ATI graphics for now)
AMD Phenom x6 1055t
Kingston HyperX 2gb 1600Mhz (single channel)
WD Cavier Black SATA III 1TB HD
OCZ ModXstream Pro 600w
Cakewalk UA-25EX and Line 6 Toneport Audio Interfaces
