How do i get the internet on my dell computer

Hello,
i bought a computer from a pawn shop and the internet explorer icon is gone and i cant get on the internet. how do i restore it?

Try this:
Click on Start
Click on Control Panel
Click on Add or Remove Programs
To the left click on Add/Remove Windows Components
Look for Windows Explorer and install it.

You can also:
Right click on the desktop
Click on New
Click on Shortcut
Click on Browse
Expand Computer to see the C: drive
Scroll down to Program Files
Open the Internet Explorer Folder
Look for and click on "iexplore.exe"
Click on OK
Click on Next
Name the shortcut
Click on Finish

or Open Windows Explorer
Search for "iexplore.exe" without the quotation marks
Right click and drag a copy to your desktop
Then click on Create Shortcuts Here
