Grainy graphic

for some reason my graphics are quite a bit grainy. But I can't tell if its my monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824191011 or my gpu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150464. resolution 1920x1080. I put the gpu in the 4th slot in my pci express running x16 speed. And please do not say "update your drivers!!". thanks for your help!!
