Thats what I got. Now I am confused with which power supply to go with:

Antec EarthWatts 650w:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371015

OCZ ModXStream 700w:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341018

Will the 650 Earthwatts be enough? Cause I want to overclock the 955, also I will be running 3 HDDs, the samsung and my two HDDS I own. I would like to get the Earthwatts one, but if it isnt enough Id go with 700w OCZ.

More about need final check order
  1. The most important thing, in my opinion, is to change that mobo. I would install this one:
    GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128416&cm_re=790x-_-13-128-416-_-Product

The Antec EarthWatts 650w is a good choice.
  2. ^Change to that mobo and go with the Antec PSU. It will be more than enough.
  3. The Earthwatts will be plenty, and I would recommend over the OCZ. You could prolly even crossfire another 5830 with that PSU. Here's the specs from Sapphire's website:
    http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?psn=000101&pid=323

Although it (strangely) does not list the amps required on the 12V rail, I don't think you will have a pb.

You wouldn't need that much for overclocking. Instead of pulling 125W you may end up pulling 150 for that CPU. Not that much difference. Same with the ram not much more for a little additional voltage. If you overclocked everything including video card you may pull an additional 50-60W from the PSU.
  4. Thanks for replies, I switched the motherboard, Is it really all that better?

I never will SLI or CF, because I will never need, I will buy one powerful card rather than two cards.

I wish the Earthwatts was black to go with the case lol :D. Since I'm getting the Earthwatts I'll get this deal: (has the gigabyte card instead)

Instead of spending an extra $35 on the motherboard, will it be better to go with a Phenom II 965 instead? which is $30 more

In my opinion, not at all. To have a good mobo is a basic thing. You will have a good stability, good performance and good overclocking due to the better chipsets and construction.
  6. I haven't ordered the motherboard yet, because I might be able to get a discount when I get the CPU and Motherboard together at my local store.

This is the one my local store has:

    GA-890GPA-UD3H

    vs the One posted:

    Which one is better?
  7. bump

anyone know? buying it now so need to know asap!!
  8. The GA-890GPA-UD3H is a very good option. However, if you want to do cf I would go for the new 890FX chipset, or the old 790FX chipset.
Anyway, as you can read in the followind review, the mobo that is in your local store is solid product.
