I got an Antec 300 illusion about two months ago. It's a great case for the price. The fans that come with only connect to the power supply. Each fan has it's own little control switch. The 120's have three settings: low, medium, high and the 140 has two: low and high. The main downside with these switches is they are inside the case so if you want to change a setting you must open up the case. My 120's are set to medium, and the 140 is set to high. If I set the 120's to high they don't lower the case temp anymore, and make alot of noise, but my case is sitting on the desk right next to me.

i see.. what kind of connector does the antec 300 illusion have for the fans?

if i get a fan controller, would i be able to control all the fans? including a cpu fan which already has a controller (tuniq tower 120 extreme) 4 case fans from the antec 300, 1 120mm fan, and the tuniq tower cpu, i dont really need to control the cpu fan because it already has the controller in the back, im just wondering if you can use another fan controller?

It has the large 4 pin connector for connecting directly to a psu.

It is the top left: 4-pin molex power connector. I'm not sure if there is an adapter from the large 4 pin to the small 4 pin used for fan control.

so 1 4pin molex connector powers all of the fans? including front 2 fans.

Personally, I hate plugging case fans directly into your PSU. They run full blast and make a LOT of noise. You should use the motherboard connectors, and if you don't have enough, you can buy a couple of splitters to hook 2 fans onto 1 pinout from the board. Much, much better setup.

The fans in the Illusion only have 4 pin molex. They have their own switch to control the speed.

The switch is the little black rectangle in the middle

Ah, did not notice that. Thanks!
