Thanks More about : harddrive selection tecmo34 April 25, 2010 2:27:06 AM Go with the Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB over the WD. 1) Priced better with similar performance, 2) The EVGA board doesn't support SATA 6.0 Gb/s, so you won't get any benefit for having one. I have the Samsung and it rivals my WD Velicoraptor in performance. Stadius April 25, 2010 3:36:59 AM Thanks for the response. would this be a better MB solution? will this support SATA 6.0 Gb/s, is there a better evga MB i should choose? http://ncix.com/products/?sku=41958&vpn=P6TD%20Deluxe&m... EVGA doesn't have a board that supports those two, at the momment, Stadius April 25, 2010 4:22:16 AM thats about 100 less than my budget. generally the better MBs are the more expensive. im looking for value per dollar but my budget allows for some extravagance. my budget for MB is between 300-340 . is there a better choice out there in this price range? tecmo34 April 25, 2010 5:40:02 AM At your price range, I would get the ASUS P6X58D Premium, which IMO is the best X58 motherboard. Stadius April 25, 2010 2:54:01 PM ok, that looks good but 1 question: 1. ATX. the case that i have selected http://ncix.com/products/?sku=33029&vpn=RC%2D932%2DKKN1... is an EATX. what is the difference between ATX and EATX? 2. I cant find any information on this MB on hte ASUS website. can you provide a link? Thanks for your help fastx21 April 25, 2010 3:02:27 PM I think E just means extended... so just fits much larger atx boards. You could say an extra $20 cancuck dollars and get the haf922 instead. http://ncix.com/products/?sku=38996&vpn=RC-922M-KKN1-GP... Basically same great case. tecmo34 April 25, 2010 3:43:40 PM E stands for extended, as mentioned above. It just means the case can support the larger motherboard like EVGA Classified.
