Overheat problem

hi...i have a proble with my nvidia card..it's overheating and i get a blue screen... i have evga precision and riva tuner i set the fan at 60% and higher but it doesn't respond the programm says that the fan is 60% but the temperature is stable..plz hepl

Make sure you have the latest drivers (197.13, I believe).

Use another program like RivaTuner to set the fanspeed.

And check for dust on the card.

One of the recent Nvidia driver releases was causing some cards to overheat. An update was released within the past week to fix this problem. Make sure that you have the very latest driver installed.

i have latest update(197.13)....but the fan doesn't respond to the evga precision or riva tuner
