Decent MOBO?

IS this any good?

Was looking for an X58 mobo for new build.

Will it handle a 4870 Trifire (4870X2+4870) with no problems?

Can it bring a i7-930 to 4.0 and higher?

It is a decent board but I would not expect it to be able to handle an overclock at 4.0GHz, as you are wanting. I would recommend picking up a better MOBO from either ASUS, Gigabyte or EVGA.

But is the 100$ price tag right?

And this paired with a hyper 212+ would not handle my target clock of 4.0?

The price tag is right (good price). My concern is the boards ability to handle an overclock at 4.0Ghz or higher. I don't think it will remain stable enough for the overclock, even with increased voltage.

I'm not worried about the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus... It will do the job just fine...
