ATI 5870 Aftercooler

I've just picked up another 5870, and well the fan on 1 is loud enough for the both of them! I went ahead and got 2 aftermarket coolers for them and I was wondering if anyone else has had good luck with these or any other for the 5800 series

Well, you did notice that cooler only lists itself as being compatible with the 4830, 4850 and 4870 and a couple nvidia cards. Not sure if thats gonna work on a 5870. They seem to be pretty good coolers as far as I can tell, but it really depends on you being able to install them on the 5870.

I have heard only good things about the Scythe Setsugen and that works great on the 5870. I have seen it come out on top in various tests on the net for an air cooler. You might wanna google for it and take a look.

The board on the 5800 series as far as coolers go, is the exact same layout as the 4800 series, So it'll work fine, Someone else has posted stating it works on their 5850 which again is the same layout as the 5870...

Alright- as long as they fit and keep it cool, then you are set. I didn't see anywhere listing it would fit, so I just wanted to make sure you knew that as its one of those things that people forget easily If it will fit, it looks like a solid cooler and it should keep it nice and cool.
