DIMM Memory for HP Slimline PC

My HP Slimline s5310f has 4 DIMM slots each with 1 GB memory (total 4 GB). Can I upgrade each slot to 2 GB (total 8GB). This Windows 7 64 bit system. Athlon II Dual Processor.

yes you are corret and I was not looking at the motherboard. I am now asking if this processor can handle 8GB with 2x4GB DIMM's, what do you think? I was reading that maybe I won't gain much in performance?

Yes the CPU can. Performance gain will not be much if any in normal home or office use.
