I was looking through newegg for a new monitor, and I'm looking at a few I (think) like.
I'm not much of a monitor expert, so I'm asking here.

Hanns·G HH-231HPB Black 23" 5ms HDMI Widescreen Full HD LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DCR 15000:1 (1000:1)

ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 (ASCR 20000:1)

Acer H233Hbmid Black 23" 5ms HDMI Full HD 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 40000:1 (ACM)

I currently have a Toshiba 18.5'' and LG 19''.

I'm looking for a main monitor to game and etc with, and probably the LG for dual screen.

If theres one not on the list, you would like to suggest, list it :)

Right now, im looking for a 23ish inch. With around 200$ to spend.

(the Asus looks nice)

I'm liking that Hanns-G. Specs wise its as good or better then the other two, and its cheaper. Its only $170 with free shipping, while the others are all $200+ with another $10 for shipping. It also seems to have slightly thinner bezels then the others for Eyefinity gaming. Its hard to tell from those photos however.

No problems.. I use the monitor for my design purposes and so i recommended.. Also i could tell its better than the asus and acer models you mentioned as i've seen them personally.. Had no idea about the Hanns so din't put it up for comparison.. Anyway, all the best with your purchase.. Enjoy..

Few more hours to decide. Only bad thing with the Hanns is it doesn't have DVI just incase I may need it.

The Asus has DVI, VGA and HDMI.

Any other thoughts?

General gaming, watching movies and tv shows. All on the computer.
