Telnet Port 3389

Hello, i am having the static ip of my office pc and i want to get connected to it remotely from other pc at my home . so that i can access sql server from any location through static ip .

Ummm... you don't telnet to that port. Use the "Remote Desktop Connection" program to connect to the remote computer. Be sure remote desktop is enabled on the host machine.

Also, I believe that only XP Pro and higher have remote desktop. XP Home does not have it. You'll need to use VNC or some other 3rd party software to take control.
