Video card : nvidia 7200 GS/7300SE
Processor: core 2 duo @2.2 ghz

Whenever I play Splintercell double agent ...............after playing a few minutes, the game crashes into the blue screen of death..........I have to manually restart it..............I am going to get the Sapphire HD 5670 512 mb ddr5 video card today...............will it solve the problem.........?

Have you tried re-installing the game? When you mean 7200/7300 is it an actual video card or the one on the motherboard? Funny, Ubisoft says it is only supported on Windows Vista.

I reinstalled it 4 times................no hope........

I had set the sound hardware acceleration to basic and thereby fixed Splintercell Chaos theory BSOD problem..................

Go for the graphics card, I don't think your 7200/7300 is a real graphics card.

Yes, think of it as a 3-4x the performance while using a little less power due to modern technology.
