Now that I have a job, I can't decide which case to buy. My top two choices are the antec 1200 for the looks, and after intense researching I have concluded that the atcs 840 is one of the best cases all around. The only decent part I own is my gtx 260 c 216 superclocked, everything else is part of a dell inspiron 531 (ram, motherboard, etc). So I will install all of those components to my new case in order to upgrade it as time passes. Please suggest me your top choices, bonus if you have previously or currently owned both cases and decided which one is better, thank you!

The ATCS has a bad airflow design purely because of its huge size.. The 1200 is far better in that department.. Considering that you are looking for a full tower for max future expandability, i'd suggest the Lian-Li PC A70F.. Or else, get a good mid tower like the CoolerMaster Sniper Black Edition..

I was at same dilemma as you are facing right now.. I was stuck on getting the CM Sniper black edition for about 6 moths (LOL..!!) but it was not getting available at my local dealers here in India.. Just two days back i stuck up with the Lian-Li PC A70F and my dilemma got solved.. Its as beautiful as a case can get.. Purchased it right away (almost 310$ here).. It performs brilliantly, has tons of spacing and the airflow is big and silent.. Just give it a look in person.. You'll love it surely..

I personally dont like anything from lian-li, just the brand name makes me think they are cheap and chinese. I know they make excepcional cases, it is just me.

So only i asked you to give it a look in person.. Lian-Li is a taiwan based company.. You may somehow link them to chinesebut definitely not cheap in any sense of imagination.. Consider this review.. It'll help better project the case..

convincing, another option to consider. "My 5970 looks small on this case" a very convincing quote form a newegg owner

basically I need something with great airflow, light (I go to frequent lan parties) and durable. For $150+ every case seems pretty much the same. Although the lian-li is the lightest of them all but it does not have a side panel window.

then I guess I will opt for the antec 1200, great airflow, looks and side window. thanks everyone.

Its not entirely marketed as a gaming case and thus, no transparent side panel.. You can buy it as an additional accessory from Lian-Li though.. BTW, have you looked at the CM HAF-X yet..??..!!

emperus! I have read that the antec 1200 is actually a mid-full tower case, while the lian li you have is a lightweight monster! What is you're experience so far with this case?

Antec 1200 is not that spacious inside as the lian li, reviews say that some motherboards might get cramped. And newegg has both of them for the same price with shipping. The atcs 840 is $20 dollars more with shipping. Your answer about fitting two dells on the 1200 was pretty funny and convincing. $100 dollars more for such case! It is not worth it.
