5970 Quad-Fire and that's not the main problem

Hello to all of you - I am new here and I'd like to request some help if thats possible (more info in this one, sorry for my previous post)
First of all im going to start with my spec and the other thing is that im a complete loser or whatever you name it with computer s so I am just going to post everest reports and you can check bios update and all kind of stuff if I need to upgrade or whatever, if you have the time and you want to help me =p (that would be great...)
i7 975 (3.3 Stock, waiting for waterblock)
MB: Asus P6T7 WS Supercomputer
PSU: Thermaltake 1200W
Case: Thermaltake SwordM (Liquid Water Cooling one)
HDD: 2000 GB Barracuda 7200 RMP
Sound card is... Xonar HDAV something (my dvi>hdmi goes into the sound card, and then I get hdmi > hdmi for my screen)
Ram: Corsair CMG6GX3M3A2000C8 2000Mhz OC 6 GB DDR3

Let' get to the point:
I have tried every possible way to use these cards, I tried running them with A.I Disabled, I tried with Crossfire Off (same FPS lag its like getting bottlenecked by something but its definitely not the CPU because I tried running 1 of the cards) it simply doesn't work, AT ALL.
Now heres the funny thing:
I used to run 4 of the GPUS in whatever game I want - all I had to do was run Furmark for 2 sec so the cards would actually "start" (heres the question, is there a way to keep them up all the time? and thats prolly not gonna solve my problem but still... maybe?)
When I force the 4 GPU's with the Furmark Benchmark I get 850 W consumption on the Zalman Screen ( Fan Controller ) and with 2 of the GPU's its like 600 or so.]
About the games now:
I've tried Tabled PC Compoments (uncheck, someone told me it helps) I've tried -w "1920x1080" I've tried run maximized , Edit all kind of settings.ini or config.ini for resolution and fullscreen=true etc and the other problem is that I canno't run any DIrectx10 games like Crysis and Bioshock, Just Cause 2, Metro 2033 (All black screen or random crashes before I even get to the menu of the game) and yes I know that these cards are a waste for my current setup (1920 x 1080 thats just for now, like 2 weeks until the 3 Apple 24 cinema display arrive) so don't mention anything like ATI sucks, you should get eyefinity and your system is a waste, please.

Games I can play are: ( havent tested other games, they prolly work im just too pissed with my cards)
World of Warcraft
Crysis Directx 9 (Windowed mode... can't change it here aswell)
Left 4 Dead 2 (pretty good actually, (when the cards are working) 250 minimum FPS
Resident Evil 5 (200 everything on max.. also its on windowed mode meaning my FPS gets fucked up by big time)
I used to get 130 minimum FPS on Dirt 2 (everything on max, I still have the benchmarks in here like 10) now I get 60 in the damn menu and 40 in game? Okey.. working as intended.
Dirt 2 is pretty much the only "working" game for me.. (except the shitty fps im getting right now.. for no reason?)
Everything else is WINDOWED mode and all kind of crap like that
Now I know that nothing supports Quad-Fire (most of the games don't even support Dual-GPU but thats not the problem... and my cards are not faulty - for sure.
Anyway.. I'm about to buy some simple cards like GTX 295 or something because I am kinda sick of this.. I pretty much wanna throw the cards in the trash.. I reinstalled / used every possible Catalyst Drivers (from 9.xx to 10.3).. and yes, I am very bad with computers.. but ive done everything the right way and I'm still learning and I am pretty sure I havent messed up anything because its all stock (I overclocked the cards few days ago to 830 / 1200 and it was all stable but with my current issue... there was no point... so I rolled it back to stock its like something is bottlenecking it or whatever you call it.. getting 30 frames in Wow menu is enough to understand that..
Now heres the thing.. I don't know anything about PCI Slots etc but check this picture and tell me if they are in the right slots (one is in the blue one and the second in the black one.. I have no idea if it makes any difference on this motherboard thats why im asking)

I have no idea if I even need to do that on mine thats why im asking) the other crossfire bridge that came with my motherboard was kinda pathethic.. for old cards I guess? it doesn't fit the cards plug in thing.
Anyway I am out of options (Not like I know much, but still I tried everything I could find on the internet)... so please, help me.
I am willing to pay 50-100$ or so for your support and time.

I'm looking at your mobo and I noticed it said it had 4 PCI-e 2 slots that are colored blue, but it only supported Nvidia's SLI for 3-way, you could see it yourself if it could only support 3 cards I don't know how quad-fire will work for you. An Intel Core i7 only supports 36 PCI-e lanes split into 16x and 16x for normal 2 cards, or I'm guessing 16x with 8x and 8x for 3 cards, not sure how you mobo is currently spliting the lanes. 7 PCI-e slots es forcing it even for a workstation mobo that uses the CEB form factor, not ATX.

I'm loking at your mobo pics, try installing both onto a blue PCI-e slot as they give you the full 16x lanes, the black ones restrict you to 8x.

I'm using the same workaround to the quadfire problem. I run 3DMark Vantage for a couple seconds and then when I start Metro 2033 it runs/looks unbelievable. I also have to disable crossfirex and run games like Arma II on a single 5970. Kind of a pain to have to change settings on my system before every game, but at least the performance is all there. Although, if anyone knows of a solution I'd be happy to try it.

Don't know of one, is Arma 2 updated to teh latest version? Hard to think of 2 5970's as just 2 cards when in reality each is two 5870s underclocked, so your game has to split into four processes over four cards.

Yeah, it's up to date, but I think the issue is that it just doesn't support quadfire. Most games don't as far as I know. It runs with both cards, but when the second one is on I get some game breaking glitches.
