well it says that its quad channel and i thought it could be better than triple channel. i really don't know whats the difference =/
The difference is in the memory controller. For modern CPU's, that means the difference is on the CPU. What Amazon is selling is four modules, but since none of these processors have quad-channel memory controllers that RAM will always run in dual-channel mode.
You're picking a board that supports triple channel, because it uses a processor with a triple-channel memory controller. That's also why it has six slots. You can run one module per channel, or two modules per channel, but the total number of modules will be 3 or 6 to run triple channel.
Dual channel runs on 2 or 4 modules. Triple Channel runs on 3 or 6 modules. If your CPU supported dual-channel, you would buy a 2-module or 4-module kit. Since the motherboard you chose supports triple-channel processors, you would buy a 3-module or 6-module kit.
