Hi,

It seems the Intel NM10 chipset (for Atom) supports AHCI mode for SATA.

The motherboard I intend to purchase (*) has no BIOS setting regarding this, though.

How do I know if the board indeed supports AHCI?

If somebody the motherboard indeed doesn't enable AHCI at boot time, is there a way to enable it programmatically using some USB boot disk, that would first enable AHCI, then boot normally on the hard drive?

Thanks,
MB
