Hello everyone,

Basically trying to build a computer to make a cgi film. Does anyone have a good specification for a cgi computer I have about $1800 to spend. The film I will be attempting to make will film will have characters in it similar to Toy story characters bright colours but high resoltuion animated features. Also if you have any good ideas for software would be greatly appricated.

Many thanks

Tom

Blender is a great 3D program to use. It's not just a 3D modeler, but a sculptor, animator, video editor, and compositor. Best of all, it's free!
