Hey!

To be honest you dont need a 5870 to play WoW, I see that CoD is on there, which CoD.

Im sure I can throw together a nice AMD build real quick with a 1000 dollar budget

Well it all looks good. Obviously we ran out of money for an aftermarket HSF.

If you look at that case, it only has 2x120mm fan. 1 intake, 1 exhaust.

I believe at stock levels you'll be able to function very well. But if you have any interest in OCing on air, you're going to top out very quickly on temperature.

Thats why most of us recommend Cooler Master/Antec cases, they have the best airflow for your money. Lian Li usually has better but at a much higher cost.

Like I said tho, that case is fine. I read every 3 egg and below review and all they had to say was the case color didnt match the picture (More of a copper, or muddy orange look)

My guess is that case took you closer to 1000, so I can definitely say that all your internals are good, and the case is the builder/buyers personal preference.

So feel confident on buying with these specs, and enjoy!

Oh 1 more thing, are you planning on taking this build to the desert at all?

Ohh no no, strictly stateside. Going to Texas for next duty station, but we'll have AC. I was looking for a burnt orange color, i'm a Long Horns fan, lol. I could go with a different case and maybe add a fan or two, this build gets me to $1002 with shipping.

Just remember, that 5850 is kinda big. The best thing to do, is pick out like 7 cases you like, then only read the negative reviews.

The negative reviews tell you MUCH more than the positive. Such as airflow, color and motherboard mounting, and especially what cards had trouble fitting.

You can also loo at the Antec 900. It's an earlier version of what I linked.

But it doesn't have some VERY nice extras that the 902 has. Such as filters over the intake fans to prevent dust from entering. There is a space behind the motherboard for routing wires to increase airflow as well.

If these 2 things dont seem worth the price difference to you, look at an Antec 900 Case.

Ok going with the Antec 902. Brings the price upto $1092 w/ shipping, but thats ok I just won't figure in the OS. I told my wife I was building a computer when I go home on leave. I'll "just have "Ohh yeah needed an OS." I appreciate your help.
