I bought a system for gaming before 2 months. And playing battlefield bad company 2. Last week it started showing reduced frame rates. I did a test with 3D mark. Below is the configuration of my system.
Processor - AMD Phenom II X4 940 - 3GHz Mainboard - ASUS M4A78 Memory - 4096MB DDR2 PC-6400, (2x2048MB), 240Pin, 800MHz. Graphics - ATI Radeon 5750 (HD5750), 1024MB OS - Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
3D Mark results

Is it a graphics card problem? Please contribute your ideas.... Thanks

3D mark doesnt tell us all that much, what are your frame rates in an actual game? Make sure to list the resolution and settings you are playing at too.
i played the game with a resolution of 1920x1080. I tried with reducing the resolution and settings. But still it was lagging. I played with low settings but didnt help.
Then its definitely not a GPU issue, its likely the CPU getting bogged down. Check for background tasks, run a virus scan, and remove any programs that you may have installed immediately prior to noticing this issue.
