Mcp73vt-pm packard bell can i upgrade the cpu

i have a packard bel limedia2215 i recently installed some new ram which has greatly increased the performance , i then bought a new processor to replace the low spec 1.6ghz intel one that came with the computer. i bougght a intel e3200 2.4 ghz processor , but i am still unabel to play a game which my computer should now be able to play , i am unsure if my mother board can support the newproccesor as downloaded sandra which tells me that the maximum speed is 800mhz per core i.e. 1.6 ghz, so am i stuck with this speed forever unless i buy a new motherboard? as i dont really want to do this, if not could someone suggest a compatible processor please ,

Can you post the model number of the Mobo for us?
I cant find out the mobo from googling imedia2215 unfortunately, youll have to find out what mobo it is and then we can check any limitations.
