Thuban's in stock at the Egg!

  1. I think it's a neat chip at a nice price point. If you have a use for that many cores, it's a great option. Has some nice stock clock speeds as well.

  3. Ouch: Call it strange, but we ran and re-ran these tests. In fact, we formatted, started over, and got the same results. In Crysis, our Phenom II X6 1090T-based platform is simply slower than its quad-core predecessor—likely a result of its lower non-Turbo clock rate.

    Not so good for gaming eh? Makes sense, my old 555 can hang with a lot of quad cores.
