Hard disk capacity becomes less and 1 drive is missing

Hello,
I want to ask help.
I have a hard drive has 320G capacity.
My hard drive also was partitioned drive C and D.
My drive C was having a problem so what I did was re-format it and installed Windows, but after the installation, my drive D was gone. What only appears is my drive C. Even I checked in drive management, I can't see the drive D.
Please I need help..

Drive D:\ may not exist. You likely killed of the partition when you did the format.
