Mobo and mem compatibility

Hello.

I'm planning to buy the Asus sabertooth X58 mobo and i want to buy 24 GB of OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 12GB Platinum RAM link here:

I wanted to ask if these to products will be compatible. I checked the mobo's QVL but it's probably old as not only it doesn't include the modules i wan't, but neither any module above 6GB.

well sandybridge (Intels next gen processor and motherboard) is out you may want to take a look at that.

I have. They look promising but i wan't to add the 6 core intel i7 970 CPU, and that's why i need a mobo with a X58 chipset
