Ram for a GA-P55A-UD4

hey everyone ive been seriously thinking about upgrading my ram
only one small problem i really want
CORSAIR 8GB (2x 4GB) DOMINATOR GT DDR3 DRAM 2000MHz C9 memory kit for CORSAIR Airflow Fan 9-10-9-27 latency
but the mobo guide says it can only support DDR3 2200/1600/1333/1066/800
what would happen exactly? would it underclock it or let it run at 2000?
this is my ram : Corsair 2x2gb 1333 9-9-9-24c
model name if you really want it "corsair XMS3 CM3X2G1333C9"
oh for anyone who seen some of my other posts i finally bought my graphics card and psu
i got a 5970 Sapphire with a 1000 watt ocz psu
