Make sure the disc is not full or write protected....

Hello,
I can't delete (in windows xp pk3) the Mcafee shortcuts from start menu/programs folder after I unistalled this program, also MSLOGS file, it gives this message: "Make sure the disc is not full or write protected and file is not currently in use". If someone has some advise, please, it would be appreciated.

  1. There are probably still some components (or more likely registry entries) relating to McAfee on your system. You can eradicate these by running the McAfee Removal Tool: http://mcafee-removal-tool.com/

When it's finished, try deleting those McAfee items again (you may even find that the removal tool has already removed some of them).

Thank you. It removed only MSLOGS file, but not this two shortcuts in start menu/programs folder, i run it a few times. But i run the Malwarebytes' program, it has tool for permanent removal files, so it removed. i'm so glad, i spent much time trying to remove them, and nothing was working.
thanks again, i appreciate your reply.
