I'm afraid the 600 CP is not officially supported on Windows Vista since there is no Vista driver for it. See this: http://www.mustek.com.tw/Download/driv_scanr/europe/600...
However, there is another possible option. Download & install the free trial of "VueScan" software: http://www.hamrick.com/
If it works with your scanner, you can either buy the full version of VueScan, or buy a new scanner instead.
