hi all,

I'm wondering if the antec 300 is loud when you use the fans that are already installed and when I put this inside:
Asus AM3 M4A89GTD PRO USB3 HDMI DVI VGA DDR3
AMD AM3 Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8GHz BOX
ASUS ATI 5850 Direct CU 1GB DDR5 voltage tweak ed.
Kingston DDR3 4GB 1333MHz (2x2GB) CL9
Antec true power 550W

Is my case going to make much noise if I put this in?

Do you already own the 5850 ?
I have the 300 as well, with three fans set on medium. Tried L,M,H . High I would notice, medium best setting,noise/cooling, the only thing I can hear is my 4770 when it goes over 55%.

Well I've read much about the 5850 , and my conclusion is that it is quiet. I hope it's true. My pc won't only be for gaming but also for my family. They use microsoft office.
So my pc needs to be quiet and smooth running.

How do you put your psu in your case , the case has no bottom wholes ?

I would recommend an after market cooler for your cpu if your concerned about noise. The stock heat sinks on those AMD processors cool just fine, but in doing so they're noisy from a small high rpm fan.

Barrymobiel,

The Antec 300 case comes with one 120mm and one 140mm TriCool fan. If they're set at mid to low speeds it should be pretty quiet. The Antec true power 550W has a single 120mm fan which has a True Spec noise level of 21.3 dBA. Hope that helps!

Thank you for your help, do you think that i should need to buy another 120mm tricool fan for the front of my case?

I already own a antec sonata designer, are all my items going to fit in this case and is it going to remain cool inside, if not I'm going to buy an antec 300.
If it fits i'm going to change the fans.
