Note that the post was made several months ago as well. I mean there's nothing wrong with asking in the forum, but forum asking usually has one flaw, and will usually be based slightly on bias. the chance that users have used several of the ssds in a price range is small. If one person owns X brand SSD, then they would normally say that X brand is the best or near the best without first hand experience of the rest of the choices. This is normally where professional tests kick in, which would be the first thing that ANY buyer should look at first before picking a part. Although Samsung/Crucial/Intel is usualy voted for best quality, there are times when other ssds get great discounts, sort of like the recent Kingston Hyper 3k ssds, which are great buys, but the likely hood of people recommending them is much smaller, because a general majority do not own the SSD in question.
