My new computer's front panel jacks don't get detected unless 'disable front jack detection' is checked in the Realtek HD Audio Manager
This means the ability to 'mute the rear output device when a front headphone plugged in' is gone, which is a nuisance since now I'd have to manually unplug the rear audio jack off (I'm using my monitor as speakers and it doesn't have a 'mute' button)
The sound card is part of my motherboard (MSI 870A-G54) and the case is Cooler Master 690 II. Does anyone know what the problem is? It's not too big of a deal, but one of those papercuts that happen everyday that I'd like to avoid.
