Maxtor diamondmax 10 jumper setting when adding hdd via usb

I have a new PC second hand, I have a PC which died, I have purchased a connector to connect an internal hard drive to a PC via USB,
I want to get some files of the hard drive from my dead PC to my new PC.

I want to know what jumper setting to use on the hard drive when I connect it to the PC via USB.

at this moment this seems a straight forward request for information/advice on this,

PS, I'm not too tech minded but have built a PC and can do some things.

You need Master. See http://www.seagate.com/staticfiles/maxtor/en_us/documentation/quick_specs/dm10_ata_quickspecs.pdf for clear diagram. Just done this with one I bought on eBay and this worked for me.
