Powercolor 5750 on Asus P5W DH Deluxe?

I need to replace my video card and am considering the fanless PowerColor AX5750. Does anyone know whether this card will work properly with the Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard? The 5750 is said to use PCI-E 2.1. I'm not sure what version is on the motherboard nor whether backward compatibility is possible.

Thanks!

Guy

Any PCI-e 2.1 card or plain 2 is backward compatible with your mobo's PCIe 1 slot. It will work that's what it means, if you're not sure of version just to be safe download your latest BIOS version of ASus's website, under the download section and BIOS.

The PCI-e std is backwards compatible. There have though been some users on this forum that have had issues with the HD5xxx series on older asus boards. I suggest that you check their faq's and an updated bios. http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=m4cR4iaPdABNLtQa&...
