DIFFERENT CORE SPEED IN CPU-Z

Why should the CPU Z say that the core speed of the processor is 1599.9/1600 mhz, when it is 2.93 mhz (E7500 that replaced my old E2140 only today)? If this is of single core, then it should double to 3.2.
