Epsom Printer not allowed to print using compatible ink

Hello,
My c62 printer has worked well for years using compatible ink To-day message from monitor says i have to replace the nearly full cartridges . Can i bypass monitor?

Buy an Epson cartridge, install it, then try putting the 3rd party one back in.

I gave up using Epsons as they never last, I also heard recently that they now have a built in 'expiry' that can only be reset by sending to Epson for a service.

I changed to Canon's & would never go back, they just keep working, don't even clog!
