Hd 5770 and dxdiag

why does the 5770 post as "ati display adapter 0x68b8" instead of ATI radeon 5770 etc etc

Same reason mine shows as ATI Display Adapter 0x9440. Its probably how the system sees it.

As long as your GPU doesn't give you problems, its not an issue and it wont cause you any problems.
